Pregnancy & Postnatal Yoga & Bodywork
Whether you work with me in the context of my doula support services, or you come to me outside of the scope of that, my passion lies in supporting women and birthing people to feel their best, and prioritise their wellbeing, through yoga and bodywork (holistic massage).
While doing yoga in a group class has many benefits, increasingly my focus is working with clients one-to-one, and encouraging some precious time for this invaluable self-care route without the company of the babies!
The pregnant and postpartum lifestyle is hugely demanding on the body, with shoulders, back, neck, jaw, core, pelvis and legs all taking a toll from the demands of growing a human, then feeding and carrying a newborn and fast-growing bundle of joy! In one-to-one yoga and bodywork, where we can focus fully on you, we are able to really address issues of alignment in the body, balance strong/tense and weak/lax areas of the musculature with one another, and also offer the important medicine of caring for your body and honouring your spirit through nurturing bodywork.

This is work for your long-term health and for the wellbeing of your whole family. It is my honour to work with people in this sacred time of the postpartum, when the heart and spirit are open and finding a strength they have never known before.
Postpartum can be a time when:
