 YOGA

I have been practising yoga since 2004, and teaching since 2010. The style of yoga I teach is Forrest Yoga – a breath-led and dynamic practice which also focuses on emotional transformation, and which is named after Ana Forrest, the teacher who developed it.

I also teach restorative yoga (a form of supported deep relaxation), and pre- and post-natal yoga. My work as a yoga teacher and practitioner continually emphasises feeling into freedom in thought, movement, and body.

My yoga teaching is informed by my experiences of managing a stressful academic career alongside the challenges of motherhood - pregnancies, birth, and the years of raising young children. I teach students of all levels, including complete beginners, and I am committed to enabling my students to discover their own strength and power in every area of their lives.

My training has included the Yogacampus 200-hour Teacher Training Diploma, and the Forrest Yoga 200-hour Foundation Teacher Training, Mentorship Programmes and Advanced Teacher Training. I have also completed the Sitaram Partnership Pregnancy Yoga Teacher Training with Uma Dinsmore-Tuli, the Poppy Perinatal Yoga Training, and Restorative Yoga Teacher Training with Judith Hanson Lasater (Levels 1 and 2). I am a Jambo Dragon School Meditation Champion.
